Our Beliefs…
We believe that there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons:
God the Father… is our heavenly Father, the creator and ruler over all things who desires to be in relationship and perfect communion with us.
Jesus Christ His Son… our Lord, came in human flesh, through the virgin birth, to save us from our sins through His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. He is the ultimate sacrifice that was given that we might be in right relationship with God.
The Holy Spirit… the third member of the God-head, is at work convicting, convincing, and comforting. The Holy Spirit cleanses our lives and produces life-change in our attitudes, mindset, habits, and spirit of the believer. Sanctification is the word used to refer to this cleansing. The Holy Spirit works in the believer to purify and set aside a person for God’s use.
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. It tells the story of Jesus — “the greatest story ever told” — and the relationship that God wants with His creation.
We believe that because of sin, man has been separated from God. But because of God’s love for His creation, He sent His Son. Through His suffering and death on the cross and His bodily resurrection, those who accept Jesus Christ, repent of their sins and confess their faith in Him shall be saved with the hope of Heaven and eternal life.
We believe the church is the Body of Christ on earth, empowered and instructed by the Holy Spirit, and existing to reach the lost, to praise God, to encourage one another, to grow in our relationship with God, and to equip each one for ministry. No one person decides that another will or will not be admitted to membership in the church. We believe that when one accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, God places that person in the church.
We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return for His Bride, the Church, at a time unknown to anyone and which could occur at any moment – We believe that all who have died will be brought back from beyond – believers to everlasting fellowship with God and unbelievers to everlasting separation from God. Christ will take His Bride to Heaven, where He will reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.
